‘Zen Cat’ Shironeko Can Teach Us A Thing Or Two About Being Blissfully Happy

It’s quite obvious why they call Shironeko, the “zen cat”. Shironeko, whose name translates to “white cat” in Japanese, is known as the “zen master cat” for his ability to be absolutely content and probably a bit sleepy 24/7.

Pictures of Shironeko first surfaced on the Internet back in 2006. He became an immediate sensation from there. He has also been given another nickname “Basket Cat”, because he likes to fall asleep in baskets. He is always happy, no matter what situation he may find himself in. Sure, photos of Shironeko are nothing new, but he does keep getting cuter (and sleepier) with age.
