Purrfect right? Who else wants one of these in their house?

Nice. I like the “organic” feel to the cuts on the wood – smooth curves, swooping and climbing bridges, nap/hunting spots to lie down and still look down over the room. I really like this, however, I wonder at their wisdom of hanging so many items from their ceiling without reinforcing the joists above the room?

Cats can generate a lot of down-force during their jumps, and improperly (and even properly) installed drywall-screws may not be able to take the weight, unless all the hardware was designed to secure to the joists above the ceiling. This is why we took another direction with our cat-designs. But, nevertheless, kudo’s for awesome design elements and making it all work together.

The little bits of artwork around the hardware is an excellent idea. Recently, my wife was painting the ballisters and splashed some paint to the far side of the stairwell. Rather than repaint the whole wall after finishing the ballisters, she used the splashes as the centre’s of a spray of flowers and little insects – totally making the entranceway a happy place!

So, now here we see another similar idea well done!
