Cat Owners In Japan Took IKEA Doll Beds And Created Adorable Cat Beds

Some clever Japanese cat owners have decided to turn a popular doll bed from IKEA into adorable beds puurrrfect for their cats and other pets. IKEA isn’t just a super fun store where you can buy cheap furniture but you can also eat Swedish meatballs and ice cream! While you might not be able to bring your pet inside IKEA, the furniture sold here can definitely be catered to animals as seen below…

The $19.99 Duktig is officially a toy bed for children’s dolls, but it also seems to have become IKEA’s leading product into the pet furniture market. Incidentally, the slot at either end of the bed is an excellent feature for cats – it lets them stick their tails out if they want to relax.

This idea is just too cute to be true! Warning: after peeking at these photos you will be tempted to run your nearest IKEA in order to give your pet a comfortable bed that looks like a miniature version of yours.

The slot on either end of the bed provides the perfect place for a cat to place their tail while they sleep.
